SO FAR AWAY

Here I am

So far away

Away from all I know

Everything about me is new

I am a stranger to these surroundings

I am so far away

From the life I know

Yet so close

For the life I know

Is always within me

My everyday life

Is so far away

So far away from all I know

And all I am

I am here though

My body

My soul

Is here

Wherever I am

I will be there

Nothing is so far away
