RESEARCH STUDY LINKS ANIMAL CRUELTY LAWS IN ALL 50 STATES

New Reference Book Researches And Compares Animal Cruelty Statute Laws In All 50 States

Burbank, California – Every state in America has animal cruelty laws. How do they compare state by state?

Dixie Publishing is proud to release the new reference book ANIMAL CRUELTY LAW IN THE UNITED STATES, A COMPARATIVE ANAYSIS, written by Opal Dockery. This groundbreaking book is the first of its kind as a research study to compare and contrast animal anti-cruelty statutes existing in all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia.

Dockery's new reference book researches and results in a suggestion that a reasonable solution regarding the reduction of crime lies within the realm of increasing penalties for such actions to a felony level along with incorporating a high degree of empathy for all living beings in the lives of American Citizens.

“This book considers a comparative analysis of all anti-cruelty laws in America, and case law from each state's jurisdiction”, Dockery stated in press materials. “Although similarities and contrasts exist among the various anti-cruelty statutes, they do not sufficiently protect animals due to the fact that society considers them as property rather than living, feeling beings. Until such statue is changed, animals will never be afforded any respectable rights of protection”.

A landmark book, ANIMAL CRUELY LAW IN THE UNITED STATES is a pioneer reference book for Animal Rights, Criminal Justice, Education and the Judicial Legal System.
